Marci Rig – Dota 2 Character
Excited to share my latest rigging project: Marci from Dota 2!
For this character, I handled a full-body rig in Maya, including:
Body – fully articulated for smooth animation.
Backpack – rigged with proper deformation for dynamic movement.
Hair, Skirt, and Cape – all rigged for secondary motion, allowing natural flow during animation.
IK/FK Switching – implemented for arms and legs, giving full control for both precise poses and fluid motion.
This rig is designed for both animation flexibility and game-ready workflows, making it easy to animate Marci in a variety of actions and stances.
It was a fun challenge to balance Marci’s dynamic silhouette and secondary motion elements, and I’m happy with how everything moves and deforms!
